What you can do on GSPACE
Automatic chat translation
Messages your friends send in Korean, Japanese, Chinese and other languages are translated into your language automatically, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese are converted for you, so you can chat with friends who speak other languages. Translation happens on your device: messages are never sent to a server to be translated, and the original text is kept. On the web, languages other than Chinese need Chrome on a computer.
Messages
Chat one to one and see when your message has been read. Sent something by mistake? Recall it within 24 hours.
Voice and video
When messaging is not enough, start a video call and invite others with a link. Cameras are off by default when joining a meeting room and can be turned on afterwards. The host may also set the meeting to audio only, or to camera-required mode so everyone must keep their camera on.
Add friends
Add friends by ID, QR code or invite link, or create a one-time invite that works for 24 hours.
Groups
Start a group and keep the friends you talk to most in one place.
Meeting links
Create a meeting code and share the link. Friends sign in, open the link and join once the host lets them in.
You decide who can reach you
Only mutual friends can send you one-to-one messages. You join a group only if you accept the invite, and once you are in, every group member can post in the group. Blocked people are not told they were blocked, and you can report inappropriate messages.

Security and privacy
- Meeting video, audio and in-meeting text are end-to-end encrypted. Meeting keys are created and exchanged only on participants' devices; servers relay encrypted data only.
- Calls between friends use the same end-to-end encryption.
- One-to-one and group text messages, as well as message reactions, are end-to-end encrypted.
- Signing in is required to join a meeting. Non-hosts may enter only after the host admits them (waiting room).
- You can verify the safety code with the other party.
- Not covered by encryption: who messages whom, timestamps, group names and members, call history, and similar metadata. See the privacy policy for details.

GSPACE sign-up supports Proton Mail directly: enter your name and password and your account is ready, with no confirmation email to wait for. If your Google account is already linked to too many services, you can open a separate Proton Mail address for GSPACE.
